The Ride for Hunger

A child who arrives at school famished is unable to concentrate on their school work no matter how good the teacher is at teaching. In rural Haiti, most kids show up at school hungry after a long walk to their school and no breakfast. At our school in Marmalade, Haiti every student is fed a nutritious lunch every day. Our Ride for Hunger ride team, led by Jim Willey, Sue and Ed Mullen and a friend of theirs will bicycle 300 miles in 22 hours to bring awareness to this need. Please sponsor them with a donation of 10 cent per mile for $30 or 50 cents per mile for $150. Our goal is to raise $34,000 to buy and ship 125,000 meals to Haiti.
